Privacy policy
Short version: no cookies, no ad trackers, and we never sell your data.
Last updated October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information FC AI (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit fcai.media, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
What we collect
We use a simple, cookieless, first-party analytics system to understand which pages are read. When a page loads, your browser sends us:
- the page address you visited and, for articles, the article identifier;
- the referring page address, if your browser provides one;
- your screen width, to help us design for different devices.
Like any website, our hosting and analytics providers also receive your IP address and browser information as part of the normal network request. We do not use this to identify you.
We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, fingerprinting or third-party social media scripts. Share buttons on our articles are plain links; nothing is sent to a social network unless you click one.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
How we use information
We use analytics data in aggregate to see which articles are useful, to fix problems and to plan coverage. We do not build profiles of individual readers.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use service providers, such as our hosting provider, who process data on our behalf under contract.
Retention
Analytics records are kept only as long as needed for aggregate reporting. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your message.
Your rights, including California (CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email hello@fcai.media with “Privacy” in the subject line. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Children
FC AI is a general-audience publication and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
