Editorial policy
How we research, write, check and correct what we publish.
Last updated October 15, 2026
Independence
FC AI is editorially independent. No company, advertiser or investor reviews or approves our articles before publication. We do not accept payment, gifts or free products in exchange for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored content. If we ever receive a product to test, we will say so in the article.
Free to read
All of our journalism is free to read, with no paywall or registration.
How articles are researched
- We start from primary sources wherever possible: laws and regulations, official guidance, company documentation, research papers and published data.
- We explain technical terms in plain English and say clearly when something is uncertain, disputed or changing quickly.
- We separate what a product or policy does today from what is promised or speculated.
- When we compare tools, we use criteria that are stated in the article and apply them consistently.
- We may use software tools, including AI tools, to help with research, drafting and checking. Every article is reviewed by our editorial team before publication, and the team is responsible for everything we publish.
Bylines
Articles are credited to the FC AI Editorial Team, which is collectively responsible for the work.
Not professional advice
Our articles are general information. They are not legal, financial, tax, employment or other professional advice. Where decisions carry legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly and transparently. If you believe something we published is wrong, email hello@fcai.media with “Correction” in the subject line, the article’s address and, if possible, a source. Significant corrections are noted in the article, and its “Updated” date changes when it is revised.
Updates
AI changes quickly. We revisit articles when the facts change and show both the original publication date and the date of the latest update.
